I’ve been looking forward to celebrating with these two for over a year! When Haley first reached out to me, I asked if she’d want to hop on FaceTime for a few minutes so we could get to know each other. That “quick” phone call turned into a two and a half hour conversation about life, our loves, her excitement about her engagement, and of course, her wedding day! We had an immediate friendship that only grew over the year, especially during their engagement session!
On the morning of her wedding, I met Haley at the hotel where she and her bridesmaids were getting ready. She handed me her bag of details and I went to work! Photographing her shoes, invitations, rings and jewelry was so much fun. You guys, her ring is incredible! Clinton made it just for her using family heirloom diamonds…right?? The pictures say it all, y’all!
After the girls finished getting ready, we shuttled over to Cedar Plantation to get Haley in her wedding dress and meet Clinton for their first look! The whole day, Haley was focused on the wedding details and getting everyone to their locations on time (she’d make an incredible planner!), but when we arrived at the venue, she became a little more quiet. As she put on her dress and got buttoned up, I could see the excitement build and the anticipation of finally seeing Clinton…
My favorite part of the day by far was when Clinton saw Haley for the first time. These two know and love each other so well, y’all. For their proposal, all Clinton had to do was play a song. He asked to play Tennessee Whiskey and then he walked out to the beach. Haley heard the music, looked around for Clinton because this was their song, but he was no where to be found. She then saw him on the beach, looking out on the water, and she ran over to him. They started dancing to the sound of the music and the waves next to them, and then Clinton asked her to be his forever.
All of those emotions came back when they saw each other on their wedding day. As Haley walked up to Clinton, she gave him a kiss on his shoulder and turned him around, and you guys…his face lit up with complete joy!
Haley and Clinton, I’m so thankful that I got to celebrate with you! You two have made my life more enjoyable by your kindness and friendship. I can’t wait to continue to hang out when you get back from Italy!!
