Katie & Jarrod held their joyful wedding ceremony at Central Presbyterian Church with their reception at Ambient Plus Studios, but it was their portraits at the Georgia State Capitol that stole my heart!
With a forecast that showed rain all day, we anticipated needing umbrellas and rain boots. But shortly before Katie’s first look with her father, God graced us with sunny skies! I can’t get over the emotion on her dad’s face as she walked towards him in her wedding dress. As the father of three girls, it was clear how much he adored them all!
As Georgia Tech grads, Katie and her ladies rode the Georgia Tech bus to Central Presbyterian Church while Jarrod and his groomsmen enjoyed a more vibrant mode of transportation – MARTA! They arrived with plenty of stories to tell! Kind strangers on MARTA offered up colorful advice to the groom on his wedding day, and the groomsmen loved this adventurous start to their day!
We captured Katie and Jarrod’s first look in Central Presbyterian’s courtyard and walked across the street for some of my favorite portraits at the Georgia State Capitol! Seeing these two on the capitol steps was breathtaking! Jarrod couldn’t keep the smile from his face as he looked at Katie!
I loved every aspect of their wedding day! From their heartfelt “I dos” to dancing the night away with the Emerald Empire Band, Katie and Jarrod are “meant to be” in every way. Congratulations you two! It was an honor to be a part of your legacy!
