Many of you probably remember this romantic Charleston wedding I photographed in September. You’ll remember that during the reception, the groom & his bandmates took the stage to perform Shania Twain’s “Man, I Feel Like A Woman.” And you’ll remember how AMAZING the moment was and what a surprise it was to the bride!
Well, guess who the lead singer of the band was? Wes!
So when Wes’ fiancé, Arden, reached out to me about their wedding in June of next year, I was beyond excited! Not only are these two gorgeous on the outside, but their personalities and love for each other make them two of the most fun people to be around. Y’all, I have the best couples.
We picked Arabia Mountain as our backdrop (my favorite place in Georgia!) and started planning for their session. Between Arden’s texts about their outfits and the changing of the seasons, I was getting so excited for the day to arrive!
And then the rain came. Then the cold. Then the heavy mist.
Arden, Wes and I were so bummed about the weather, but I knew that waiting for a gorgeous sunset was worth it. So we postponed their session, and waited a little longer…
…and it was so worth it!
The evidence is in the images below, friends!
