Morgan and Blake’s Callanwolde Estate wedding was a perfect mixture of sophisticated and relaxed, charming and wild. With guests traveling in from all over the state, Atlanta was the perfect location for everyone to celebrate an amazing weekend! Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is easily one of the most beautiful venues in Atlanta, with its incredible position in the heart of midtown and it’s Gothic-revival architecture.
We began the morning at a trendy hotel in Atlanta. Morgan’s hair and make up was well under way as I arrived and began photographing her details. Her color palette of bright pinks, blues and warm neutrals was the perfect complement to her bridesmaids burgundy dresses (is there any better color to describe Fall in the south??) Thanks to EAM Weddings for dropping off Morgan’s bouquet and a few extra florals so I could spend a little one-on-one time with these gorgeous flowers! Morgan’s bouquet is easily one of my favorites from 2019. Judging by how many images of it I included in this gallery, I’m guessing you already knew!
The day flowed effortlessly, and soon it was time for the ceremony! Set in Callanwolde Estate’s sunken garden, guests were treated to a gorgeous view of bright florals as Morgan and Blake said “I do.” And as we captured their wedding portraits, Morgan and Blake looked so timeless together as they walked the 12 acre gardens in her wedding dress and his tuxedo! The day was truly remarkable!
Morgan and Blake, thank you for asking me to capture your day and for sharing such a wonderful experience with me. I wish you two so much love and joy in your marriage!
