Downtown Griffin Senior Session

Downtown Griffin Senior Session

Camille | Starr’s Mill High School | Class of 2018

When Camille reached out to me, we started talking about locations and what she wanted to express with her senior portraits. She wanted the best of both worlds: a downtown vibe and the soft elegance of a garden. And I loved it!

And let’s talk about her s-t-y-l-e! I swear, seniors these days are so fashion-forward! She picked out an adorable, trendy hat for her session that we used on and off for different settings. I loved the way it tied her entire outfit together – especially in the downtown scenes! She’d also seen a recent session I did, and loved the idea of using a backdrop to add some texture to the setting. So she found a macrame from Urban Outfitters and brought it along! It was such a fun addition to the scene and made her boho-vibe pop!

We started first at the Violet Bank House. She wore a gorgeous marsala dress with floral detailing that matched the setting perfectly. Then we moved on to downtown Griffin where she wore the trendiest outfit (I love her shoes!!) and looked straight out of a catalog!

Camille, thank you for asking me to take your senior pictures! I hope you enjoy these, and that your mom enjoys hanging them all around your house!! Have the best time at Belmont – I can’t wait to see all you accomplish!

This is where I love sharing recent weddings and sessions, my travels, and life with my husband, and our three pets. When I'm not capturing a wedding day, I'm often enjoying the outdoors with Garrett, playing with our pups, or finding a new place to call home for the weekend. My passion is telling love stories, and I hope I get to fall in love with telling yours.

Let's meet!

Welcome to my journal! I'm Laura...
