Joey + Laura | Formal Anniversary at The Georgian Terrace

Atlanta Formal Anniversary

Joey + Laura are wonderful, long-time friends. When I was starting my photography career 4 short years ago, they hired me to capture their wedding day. I had only photographed 3 weddings before theirs (yikes!), but they trusted me for their important day, and I am forever grateful!

To celebrate how far they’ve come these past four years and 2 adorable boys later, we decided to pop some champagne at the Georgian Terrace in Downtown Atlanta for their formal anniversary photos! The architecture, columns, and these beautiful love birds made each image spectacular!

Little did we know, we’d also meet a kind stranger with a key to the top of the Ponce Condominiums across the street.

Y’all – we were ON THE ROOF!

While the entire session was incredible, those rooftop portraits are some of my favorites to date! It was a pleasure to do this formal anniversary session for and with them. I don’t know if you can tell, but they’re majorly in love, not to mention their model statuses. These two have no trouble in front of the camera, and they are not professionals. It is my hope to make any couple or entrepreneur feel amazing when they’re in front my camera. You can find another recent anniversary session in Utah here.

Gaze on the beauty of Laura + Joey’s formal 4 yr Anniversary portraits! Here’s to 50 more!

This is where I love sharing recent weddings and sessions, my travels, and life with my husband, and our three pets. When I'm not capturing a wedding day, I'm often enjoying the outdoors with Garrett, playing with our pups, or finding a new place to call home for the weekend. My passion is telling love stories, and I hope I get to fall in love with telling yours.

Let's meet!

Welcome to my journal! I'm Laura...
