Tess and Taylor began their marriage on the most beautiful Fall day in North Georgia last Saturday. With a light breeze and temperature in the low 70’s, their wedding day was what most Georgia brides dream of! Add to it the touch of Fall on every leaf surrounding Sanctuary Estate, and we felt like we were in Heaven. I even wore a jacket the whole day! #goals
The ladies began their morning sipping mimosas and getting ready. As always, I started with Tess’ details. Sanctuary Estate is a perfect setting wedding days, and I loved getting to spend some time sipping my coffee while capturing Tess’ beautiful jewelry, shoes and dress on the grand porch of the home! And don’t worry, my coffee never got close to the dress!
After what only felt like seconds, it was time for the first look! The fall leaves served as the perfect backdrop as Tess and Taylor saw each other for the first time. Taylor was so excited when he turned around and saw Tess! And let’s be real, she looked stunning. How could he not be excited to marry her?!
My favorite part of the day came during portraits! On a wedding, I usually get really excited during the ceremony, toasts, or the first look. But these portraits, y’all. They are the epitome of Fall, and I’m pretty confident any wedding photographer would cry to have these two in front of their lens in this setting! I felt so lucky the entire time, and I’m just so thrilled to deliver the rest of Tess and Taylor’s gallery to them!
Tess and Taylor, words can’t describe how thankful I am to both of you! You not only embraced me as a friend on the day of your wedding, but I felt like party of your family. I am so excited to see all that you do together! You’ve got some fun times ahead! Say hey to Penelope for me!
