Last weekend, I made my way to Macon, Georgia for Katie and Ryan’s wedding day. I first met these two over drinks to talk about their wedding day, but it was at their engagement session where I fell in love with them!
Katie has such a beautiful personality! I genuinely believe that she couldn’t make an enemy, even if she tried. She’s that kind-hearted! This trait of hers was evident throughout her wedding day, from how she treated each vendor and how she loved her bridesmaids, to her bouquet toss. Instead of throwing the bouquet to the crowd of single ladies gathered, Katie pulled apart her own bouquet and handed each girl a flower so they could all share in the fun. In a competitive moment and tradition that could potentially make one of these girls feel less than, Katie made them each feel worthy. How beautiful is that?
Ryan is Katie’s perfect match! I’ve never seen a groom adore his bride more than Ryan adores Katie. He and his groomsmen were such good listeners, too, and any wedding photographer would agree with me that this makes our hearts so happy! Ryan was so calm all day, waiting for the moment he could see Katie. And when that moment finally came, he was ecstatic!
Katie and Ryan, I’m just so happy for you two! It’s obvious you’ve found your other half, or third. Because I adore how you keep God at the center of your relationship, and now, your marriage. Congratulations on such a beautiful start to a lifetime together! Thank you for letting me witness every moment!
