Late Summer Wedding Featuring A Stunning Display of Orchids
Katie and John’s Atlanta Athletic Club wedding weekend took place in serene Johns Creek, Georgia last August. After postponing their vows due to the pandemic, Katie and John were excited to celebrate with their guests safely. The couple shared a private first look at a location that was near to John’s heart: on a stone bridge on the golf course he grew up on. Despite the threat of rain, John knew this was where he wanted to meet Katie on their wedding day.
Working with Brianne McMullan Events, Katie and John opted for a classic wedding look. I loved how the color white played a major role in the design. From the flowers to the invitation suite, every detail was there. The orchid centerpieces that donned the reception tables were unbelievably gorgeous, and one of my favorite details. The couple said their vows to each other surrounded by an indoor garden of orchids and white florals. Guests were then ushered to an al fresco cocktail hour on the lawn as the sun set followed by mingling and merriment at their stunning ballroom reception as they danced the night away.
