Schuyler and Joseph chose Blanc Studio West in Atlanta for their maternity portraits. Rather than choose the typical outdoor aesthetic, Schuyler opted for a clean, modern vibe, and this studio provided the perfect backdrop. I loved seeing Schuyler celebrate her new look and embrace the bump for her session. Watching my clients become parents is […]

New parents, Madison and Jason, holding their new baby, Emma.

Madison and Jason welcomed their first baby girl just after Christmas. We were lucky to photograph their wedding day at Chateau Elan in June of 2021, and it always brings me joy to watch my couples begin their families! Seeing Madison and Jason with Emma was no different. They are natural parents, and their love […]

What better way to begin 2023 than by highlighting one of my favorite engagement sessions of last year. Rebecca and Scott are getting married this Spring. While we searched for the perfect location for their engagement portraits, we knew we wanted something private and bespoke. Not surprisingly, we settled on Meadowlark 1939. Meadowlark is the […]

It felt so special getting to celebrate the Huguenard’s new family addition! Photographing newborns and families has become a new favorite of mine. It’s always an honor to capture these special first moments. I got to soak in all of the new baby cuddles and watch Walker step into his role as a big brother. […]

Like many couples getting married during the pandemic, Gwen and John held an intimate ceremony last year, hoping to celebrate with their family and friends later on. This year, we got to have that party! Their celebration took place at The Trolley Barn. Guests were greeted in the courtyard with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while […]

I'm LAURA

welcome to my journal

This is where I love sharing recent weddings and sessions, my travels, and life with my husband, and our three pets. When I'm not capturing a wedding day, I'm often enjoying the outdoors with Garrett, playing with our pups, or finding a new place to call home for the weekend. My passion is telling love stories, and I hope I get to fall in love with telling yours.

let's meet!

North Beach was the perfect location for Nicole and Rob's Tybee Island session. While they played with their pup, Lucy, I simply followed. We ran together on the sand, not worrying for once about dirty hems or windy hair.

Christie and Brian strayed from traditional southern clichés and played into the modern lines and motifs of Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta throughout their wedding design – from their paper to their florals.

I was honored to be able to capture my second photographer's sweet family for her birthday and Mother’s Day present. We played on the grounds of Meadowlark 1939 and came away with the most lovely photos of her and her family.
