One of the things I love most about this industry is the connections I’ve made with fellow vendors. Unlike some industries, the wedding world beams with community. Some of my best friends come from this industry, and I’m proud to call Carrie Joy of Carrie Joy Photography one of them.
Early in the pandemic, I connected with Carrie Joy on Instagram. We knew each other from similar friend circles, and we felt it was about time for a virtual coffee date! Apparently, we have too much in common. And after our first meeting, we decided to make Monday Morning Coffee Chats a regular thing. Kicking my week off with chats with CJ became a highlight of each week! Through the pandemic, her friendship has meant the world to me. Bouncing ideas off of her or discussing tough situations (especially in this time of Covid) has provided me a sense of camaraderie I didn’t know I was missing.
Together, we’ve kept each other accountable in our personal and business goals. And we are dreaming big for 2021!
This past August, I captured some updated branding portraits for Carrie Joy. Her iconic style is so chic, and so Paris. She loves a good French 75, as well as spending time with her beautiful daughter, Eliana, and husband, Tanner. I loved photographing her at Bread & Butterfly in Atlanta, as well as some extra portraits inside Blanc Studio West!
