Sarah and Jack’s engagement session was a beautiful reflection of their love story, captured in some of their favorite Atlanta. As an Atlanta wedding photographer, I’m always excited when a couple wants to incorporate meaningful locations into their session. For Sarah and Jack, each spot held special memories.
We started the session at Bones Restaurant, a premier steakhouse in Atlanta. This is where it all began for Sarah and Jack, with their very first date. It’s also where they shared many important moments together over the years. We captured some intimate shots in the cozy bar, with the couple enjoying cocktails and reminiscing about their first date.
Next, we headed to their home, where their dog, Ringo, joined the fun. Including dogs in engagement portraits adds a personal touch, and Ringo was the perfect addition to their session.
Our final stop was Duck Pond park in Buckhead. This spot was special to Sarah and Jack because of their tradition of enjoying pizza in the park after long days. They brought along a Domino’s pepperoni pizza (their regular) and champagne to celebrate their engagement. We found the perfect spot under a willow tree, where they spread out a cute blue checkered picnic blanket.
The session had a playful moment when a curious duck joined us, clearly interested in the pizza! It was a sweet and spontaneous addition that made the day even more memorable.
Sarah and Jack’s Duck Pond engagement portraits are a perfect example of how personal touches can make a session truly unique. These photos capture not just their love for each other, but also the places and moments that have shaped their relationship.
