Ashley and Vincent’s wedding day was a journey through Savannah, beginning with getting ready moments at the JW Marriott on River Street, followed by a heartfelt ceremony at Sacred Heart Church. The celebration continued at HollyOaks On the Marsh, where Tara Skinner Events designed an event as bright and joyful as Ashley’s personality. The palette—light summer yellows with pops of orange and pink—mirrored the warmth of a Southern sunset, complementing the venue’s sweeping oak trees draped in Spanish moss.

A summer storm rolled in just before cocktail hour, bringing dramatic skies and a refreshing burst of rain. But as the clouds cleared, guests were treated to a stunning sunset, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. The reception embraced a relaxed, social atmosphere with station-style dining, cocktail lounges, and mixed seating, encouraging guests to mingle and celebrate. Signature Palomas and Old Fashioneds added a personal touch, while a cigar lounge by the marsh created an elegant retreat under the open night sky.

One of the most stunning design elements was the floral installation by August Event Design above the dance floor—a canopy of hanging flowers intertwined with circular domes of light, casting a romantic glow over the night’s festivities. As Ashley and Vincent danced beneath the blooms, surrounded by friends and family, their wedding felt like the perfect fusion of timeless Southern charm and modern celebration.
