Callan & Mitchell

I didn’t know what to expect as I drove up the windy roads at the Waterfall Club for Callan and Mitchell’s wedding day. But if I did, I would have thanked God in advance for the incredible October weather, the joy that every single guest shared for these two, an incredible vendor team led by Camden Gray Weddings, and for such an incredible couple to spend my day capturing!

Callan & Moosey, as he’s most commonly known, are two genuine souls. They’re captivating individually, but when you get them together, they absolutely shine with charisma! I can best describe them as the couple who, after you’ve met them for the first time, you feel as though you’ve been talking to old friends.

I walked into the bridal suite the morning of the wedding, and there was Callan, surrounded by 9 of her closest friends. Most would think that 9 is too many bridesmaids, but after meeting Callan, I’m confident that she could have easily added 15 more! We spent the morning capturing her details, but also snapping some fun pictures of her getting ready. The girls were so calm, and some even ordered chicken fingers and fries to snack on while they got their makeup done! Now those are my people!!

Soon it was time for Callan to get into her dress and meet her dad for their first look. We stayed strong all morning. “No tears” was our mantra, but as soon as Mr. Rowley turned around and saw his daughter in her wedding dress, we all lost it! They shared such a precious moment together, and it made Callan even more ready to see her groom!

A Waterfall First Look

I drove Callan to meet Moosey for their first look. We decided to meet him at the base of the waterfall because why not? The climb down was pretty steep, but I don’t think anything could have kept Callan from her man any longer! Even in heels, she made it down that hill like a pro! When we finally got to the bottom, Callan walked up to Moosey and turned him around, and they had the most beautiful first look I’ve ever seen! I mean, just wait until you see the backdrop!

Callan & Moosey, thank you for embracing me as more than just your wedding photographer! You two and your families made me feel right at home. I’m so thankful that I got to capture these moments for you! I hope you enjoy every single one of them!!
