If I spent my entire day at Cator Woolford Gardens capturing Angela and Matt’s engagement session on film, I’d have the best life. These two have a contagious enthusiasm about them! From the moment she stepped out of her car (in a gorgeous gold dress, no less), Angela’s smile had me excited to begin their engagement session. And while I’m sure Matt would have loved to do plenty of other things with his afternoon (let’s be honest, most men don’t enjoy having their portraits taken for an hour), he was the best sport! He filled my camera with so much love for his bride. I even captured one of my favorite groom portraits during this session!
I connected with Angela and Matt last year about capturing their wedding at St. Ives Country Club. Instantly, I knew that we would be good friends! Not only are they avid travelers, they love their careers and are planning a wedding intentionally their own. As both an attorney and doctor, you can imagine that they are busy! So planning for their session took some serious coordination. In the short time that we’ve known each other, Angela has lived in Hong Kong, San Diego and Washington D.C. When she found out that I had some availability during the holidays while they were in town with family, we jumped at the opportunity to plan their session. Thankfully, the gardens still had plenty of gorgeous scenery, even in the winter!
Matt and Angela, I’m anxiously awaiting your incredible wedding day! Thank you for making my afternoon so magical!
