Jenna and Greg chose Forsyth Park as the location for their engagement photos. This location holds a special romance for them. We stole an evening in this historic city in July, but it wasn’t an easy feat.
While Jenna calls America home, Greg remains in France. And if you can imagine how difficult a long distance relationship is during times of Covid, multiply that by 100. Jenna and Greg are not only planning a wedding ceremony in the midst of a pandemic, they’re also navigating Visas and travel restrictions. Originally set to wed this November, the pair had to push back their wedding date to January of 2021.
A Forsyth Park Engagement
Forsyth Park in Savannah is always an iconic gem for portraits. Located in the historic quarter of the city, the park contains beautiful greenery, Spanish moss, walking paths, and a gorgeous fountain in the center. We began their engagement session here. And we took note of all the beautiful vignettes the park has to offer. From the park, we navigated Savannah’s surrounding squares, and we stopped at different townhouses to take in the worn architecture that makes the city so romantic!
It was a pleasure wandering with Jenna and Greg, and I’m grateful to have had the pleasure of working with them to find a day to celebrate their love next winter. Their love story is a testament to remembering what is important in marriage: commitment and time well spent together.
