Getting to walk the University of Georgia’s North campus with Patricia and Andrew for their engagement session was such a blessing! The pair met in Athens, and the UGA campus holds so much joy for them. If our time together is any indication of what their wedding day will be like, then I am one lucky photographer!
We began at the famous arch that marks the start of UGA’s campus from the downtown area. As I arrived to meet them, I noticed a line forming in front of the arch with photographers and seniors, dressed in their red, white and black outfits with their graduation caps and robes. One of the photographers in line told me that the wait was almost one hour to step in front of the arch for a photo! So Patricia, Andrew and I decided we’d begin at Founders Garden instead. And the light was perfect!
After walking through the gardens, we continued through North Campus, making a point to stop at the fountain where Andrew proposed. Seeing their smiles light up at the spot that held so much joy for them was so sweet!
Congratulations Patricia and Andrew! I can’t wait to capture your wedding day at The Carl House in November!
