A Savannah Yacht Club Wedding
Kim and Alex’s Savannah Yacht Club wedding this Spring was truly incredible. Guests were welcomed to the historic city for a weekend of southern-inspired fun and a waterfront celebration.
“Cheerful” was the word Kim and Alex used as their inspiration. From the bright coral color palette to the excitement from their bridal party as we walked along historic Jones St. and Chippewa Square in Savannah for portraits, I can’t think of a more perfect word to describe their low country wedding. Tara Skinner Events fused the coastal setting of the Savannah Yacht Club with a color palette of corals, blushes, soft blues and neutrals. From the Bella Figura invitations to their guests arriving in white trolleys, the details brought to life every Southern bride’s dream of a historic, coastal wedding.
Their ceremony took place on the lawn of the Savannah Yacht Club with a Southern Live Oak tree as the backdrop. Kim and Alex exchanged hand-written vows and followed their ceremony with portraits on the harbor while their guests gathered under cafe lights and danced to Mo’ Sol band.
