Romantic Hammonds Ferry Engagement Photos
Jessica and John chose Hammonds Ferry for their engagement photo location. Even though I’m an Atlanta-native, and I’ve lived within 3 hours of North Augusta, this was the first time I visited Hammonds Ferry! Everything about this town is lovely. From quaint sidewalks to Charleston-esque architecture, the vibe of Hammonds Ferry feel like a Nicholas Sparks novel. I loved walking through the town with Jessica and John!
We met at Boeckh Park and we walked the sidewalks of Hammonds Ferry. And as we strolled along, I paused Jessica and John so that we could take advantage of all the vignettes we came across. Jess wore a lovely cream dress with subtle details and ruffled sleeves. Her look was perfectly classic and timeless! John dressed to match in a classic duo of a blue button down and pressed jeans.
After walking around Hammonds Ferry, we met Jessica’s mom at Boeckh Park for some final portraits with their Doodle, Jax! He, too, was perfectly groomed for his portraits, and we had tons of fun playing with Jax! As we finished their session, Jessica and John opened a bottle of wine and enjoyed a relaxing sip together to celebrate.
I had a blast capturing these portraits for Jessica and John. They are so sweet, kind and lovely. More importantly, they share a deep love for each other and are truly the best of friends! Congratulations, you two. I can’t wait to celebrate your wedding day next June!
