Like many COVID-19 couples, Ayleen and Bryce celebrated their wedding with a Kennesaw State Park elopement. Ayleen and Bryce are two nurses in Georgia. A few weeks before their formal wedding, they were informed by their hospital that staff would be required to go on lockdown due to concerns over COVID-19. So on Thursday evening, March 18th, Ayleen messaged me on Instagram. Her message was short and sweet: She was a desperate bride who wanted to get married before going on lockdown. If they wanted to make it happen…it had to be tomorrow! Her exact words, “This is a Hail Mary. Are you busy tomorrow?”
In a twist of fate, my original couple scheduled for their date postponed to Spring 2021 due to the pandemic. Therefore, I was wide open and excited to be a part of this spontaneous day for Ayleen and Bryce! We quickly scheduled a phone call and set to work.
My friend, Ginger Rose, used local blooms to create a gorgeous bouquet for Ayleen. She also created a boutonniere for Bryce to match. Formal Faces also stepped in to create a stunning look for Ayleen. I’m truly thankful to be a part of such a wonderful network of industry professionals to provide such an exciting wedding day for these two!
