Like many COVID-19 couples, Ayleen and Bryce celebrated their wedding with a Kennesaw State Park elopement. The pair married on a Friday with perfect weather. Due to the pandemic, they kept their spontaneous ceremony small, inviting only family and close friends.
Ayleen and Bryce are two nurses in Georgia. A few weeks before their formal wedding, they were informed by their hospital that staff would be required to go on lockdown due to concerns over COVID-19. So on Thursday evening, March 18th, Ayleen messaged me on Instagram. Her message was short and sweet: She was a desperate bride who wanted to get married before going on lockdown. If they wanted to make it happen…it had to be tomorrow!
“This is a Hail Mary. Are you busy tomorrow??”
In an odd twist of fate, my original couple scheduled for March 19th postponed their wedding to Spring 2021 due to the pandemic. I was wide open and excited to be a part of this spontaneous day for Ayleen and Bryce! We quickly scheduled a phone call and set to work.
Quickly, I contacted Ginger Rose, and I asked if she’d be able to craft a bouquet for Ayleen. She did that, and more! Alyssa put together a gorgeous bouquet and boutonniere for Bryce to wear. We met at Kennesaw State Park for Ayleen and Bryce’s first look.
Ayleen wore a stunning bohemian wedding dress from ASOS with hair and makeup by the team at Formal Faces. She looked stunning, and it was evident that nothing could keep her from smiling all day!
