Lowndes Grove Charleston Wedding
Elizabeth and Caleb’s Lowndes Grove wedding was affair full of intentional moments and gorgeous details planned by A Charleston Bride. On the morning of their wedding, I entered the checkered sunroom at Lowndes Grove and began preparing for the festivities. It was a cold, overcast, and windy day, so I bundled up a little extra and set to work. While Elizabeth and her ladies began hair and makeup, I began styling Elizabeth and Caleb’s wedding details. Elizabeth was very intentional with the personal details she selected for her wedding day. Each one told a story, from her personalized stationery to her hand-painted shoes by her cousin Aine Cole Art.
The day carried so many beautiful moments. Guests arrived in pastel-colored buses, and Elizabeth and Caleb had The Carolina Bagpiper greet their guests at the start of the ceremony. When they said “I do,” confetti poppers burst in the air while everyone cheered. Guests were then greeted at cocktail hour with champagne and warm conversation. At the end of the evening, A Town A List brought down the house with an incredible party at the reception!
I’m happy to see Elizabeth and Caleb’s Lowndes Grove wedding featured on A Coastal Bride, the same publication that featured their Charleston engagement session last Spring!
